4th of July Events 2019
Errol's 4th of July Celebration will be held on Saturday July 6, 2019
10:00-11:00: Registration for the Miranda Sweatt Fishing Fun Day begins. During registration a kit will be supplied to those interested in building their own handmade fishing pole. Kits include wooden pole, line, hook, & bobber.
11:00 - Noon: Fishing begins. Prizes will be given to the boy and girl who catch the biggest fish and also to the boy and girl who catch the smallest fish. There will be two divisions for the prizes, homemade poles and regular poles. Children must be 13 or younger to participate.
11:30-12:30: Kids games will take place at the school. Prizes will be donated by the Umbagog Area Chamber of Commerce.
1:00: The Parade begins. This year's theme "Your Sunday Best". Line up begins at 12:30 at the state shed on Rt. 16. Register with Ricky Blais if you would like your float judged. A number will be assigned to your float corresponding with your contact information. 1st place Prize awarded to the float who best follows the theme. Prize donated by the Umbagog Area Chamber of Commerce.
2:30: The Log Rolling Contest will take place at the kid's pond in the center of town. Prizes will be given by the Umbagog Area Chamber of Commerce to the winners. Two groups will compete. Children 15 and younger and then the adults 16 and older.
Dusk: Fireworks at the Bridge on Rt. 26, presented by The Town of Errol.
